My name is Karrie Davis, a family photographer serving all of South Jersey.
I am an eternal optimist. I believe that the human connection is such a powerful subject and I strive in every session to capture a piece of my clients’ magic. I have a lot of patience for little kiddies, and restless newborns. Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher. I used to play school with all my dolls. As much as teaching was in my heart, motherhood was my passion. My husband Jeff and our four boys (Ethan, Aidan, Elijah, & Landon – see the most recent photo below) have given me such joy. I have enjoyed photography for years, and have dabbled in it as a hobby for as long as I can remember. I finally took a photography class and that allowed me to really understand the emotional component of a photograph and how it tethers you to a piece of your life. From then on, I was hooked. My business grew very organically and I feel very fortunate that my clients entrust me with capturing their families since 2013. It’s been one of the best things that has come into my life.
I enjoy capturing moments for families, laughter of children, and the angelic faces of newborns. I find the pictures I am drawn to from a session are the pictures that show the connection or emotion of the people in it. My style is a fresh, natural look. I shoot on location, and try to use the natural light to get the best pictures for my clients. My passion is family photography and I strive to make the process of capturing your family a fun experience for all my clients.
